196. Sunday June 10th 1877. It was a warm disagreeable day raining part of the time At evening it was cold enough for a fire I was not away from home all day. The young folks went over to "The Band of Hope" in the afternoon and it rained hard while they were away so they came home in the mud. Pete was over in the evening. Monday June 11th 1877. Hattie did the washing this forenoon and I helped with the work. As soon as the dinner work was done up I went over to Mrs Dennisons and stayed a couple of hours. Mother was in town. And Hatt and Miss Cattrell were over and took supper at Wins. Misfs C_ did not come home till after the "Choral Union" and The girls came over with Hatt. We had some other company and a real pleasant time. it was a cool pleasant evening to entertain company. All seemed to enjoy themselves.
