201. Wednesday June 20th 1877. Mr Baily started home this morning before we got up so I did not get to bid him good-bye. Mother was in town in the forenoon. I helped a little with the house-work and took a nap after dinner. Mr Cattrell and sister took dinner away from home. Maggie Lathrop was here in the afternoon and stayed till after supper. Mothers Aunt and her daughter with two children came in the afternoon. Just as we were through eating supper it came up a terrible storm. We wanted them to stay all night but they would not do it Uncle Jim was here and as it was not raining quite so hard about eight oclock he took them to the train. Maggie started in time to get home before the rain. Winnie and Mollie were over here to supper and they could not get home. We had quite a company and quite an excitement. We did not get to bed so very early.
