205 Wednesday June 27th 1877. I helped with the house-work all the forenoon I mended the clothes and put them away. I spent the afternoon and evening at Winnies. Pete came there to come home with me. The began to work on the house and tore the old porch down. Thursday June 28th 1877. I was sewing a part of the time today and after supper dressed myself and went to town. Rob got home tonight. He had a pretty severe trip on account of the bad weather. A year ago today Lou and I started to Desmoines. Friday June 29th 1877. We had only just got the work done up when Uncle Jim came after me to spend the day with them. I went and he brought me home in the evening. I was tired and went to bed early.
