206 Saturday June 30th 1877. Mother went to town this morning and I did the work till noon. After dinner her and I made Lee a pair of pants. After supper she went to town again and I put away all the milk and done up the evening work I was so tired I could hardly get ready for bed. Sunday July 1st 1877. We got up rather early and then we girls were not ready to go to the valley to the basket meeting when Pete and Mr Whetstone came. We got started about half past eight oclock and when we got down there found the folks nearly all gone. We went on and spent a very pleasant day. Had just a gay time getting our dinner. Stopped at Aunt Ems to feed and water the team. Found our folks eating supper when we got home. We rode around to the bridge with the boys. Then came home and went right to bed. Was very tired.
