208 and the rest of us went back to town again after supper. I was very tired when I got home and I guess those were the sentiments of the crowd. I had enjoyed the day though. Thursday July 5th 1877 It was intolerably hot this morning but we girls did the washing and got it done by noon. Mother and Rob went to the valley this afternoon. I sweat and sewed carpet rags all the afternoon. The first thing after supper I went over to see Courtney Mygatt who is sick. Pete came home with me and did not go back to town again tonight Mother and Rob did not get home till night They began the brick work to the house today. Friday July 6th 1877. It turned a little cooler last night so it was pleasanter doing the ironing today. It was very warm in the afternoon again. We put in all the latter part of the day in packing the parlor furniture and getting the carpet out and two beds moved down in that room.
