210. Monday July 9th 1877. We were up at work early this morning as we had a large washing to do. The men began to tear the roof of. They made things fly pretty much all day. We got our washing done by noon and I helped make a pair of linin pants in the afternoon. Tuesday July 10th 1877. We girls did the ironing this forenoon while Mother went to town She came home with the intelligence that Palmer and Pete were gone away. Lizzie Lindley took dinner here. I was busy at the work all the afternoon. I put the clothes all away after supper, and went to bed early. Letters from Kate Boye & Al Hilbert. Wednesday July 11th 1877. We girls went to the valley to make Aunt Libs dress. We put in a pretty good days work. And after supper went to Grand-mas and Aunt Ellens. I put in a sort of an existence. I dont feel at all well.
