249. Friday November 9th 1877 I was at the house-work all day. I baked a lot of cake. Mother went to town in the afternoon. I did not change my dress till just supper time. Saturday November 10th 1877. As soon as we got the morning work done up I went to town and did not get home till nearly noon. I spent all the time I had to spare in the afternoon down to Robinsons. The evening I put in at home knitting. Sunday November 11th 1877. I helped with the work and wrote to Charlie and Lizzie. In the evening I practiced an hour. Monday November 12th 1877. Hatt washed this forenoon and I cleaned up the house After dinner I gave the garret a going over and then changed my dress and went to town to see the carpet weaver. Win was over and Hatt went home with her to stay all the evening. I practiced an hour in the evening and wrote a long letter to Pete answering one I had today.
