Saturday March 18 1933 . I wrote letters most of the am. Wrote Jesse Henderson Hattie Lara & Edith & Mr Williams cards to Alice London When we went down town later I stopped at Pickens Letter from Ott & Hattie also Tishie telling of Mr Hoffmans accident. A card from Ott Seifert about the Earthquake Sunday March 19- 1933 I wrote Grace Mc[Collints?] before we went to church Miss Sneed came home with us. We found the Taylors here. Mrs Falk had a fine dinner at three oclock went down to band concert. very warm. Evening on the porch. Monday March 20 - 1933 I wrote Julia Mc & Bro Ott. [Ele] [Singster] and son from Casadaga spent part of AM with me. Soon after dinner went downtown I took Mrs Lowe & Mrs Falk to see "George Arliss" in "The King's Vacation" In the evening heat Went to Pickens with the Falks to [illegible] Mitchells where they playd cards. Rain all night Thursday March 21st 1933 Wrote to Hattie & the [Lemons?] We went down to the Lowes for dinner. Mrs Garrison there a fine visit I had a card from Mrs Doyle in Long Beach. Letters from Rob. The Pickens here in evening Wednesday March 22 - 1933 A month since I left home. I put in the AM at the desk Wrote letters to Winnie Lena & Edith Mrs Doyle and Mattie Still We went to a picture show in the PM Then called on Mrs Reimers I had letters from Bro Ott Winnie and Lena Evening at home.
