Wednesday March 29- 1933 I did my packing in forenoon. Rested awhile after dinner then got ready to go to The Station Mrs Falk took me and I was soon on the way. Left Jacksonville at 9.30. Went directly to bed. I mailed letters at Jacksonville. Thursday March 30- 1933 When we got to Florence had a good breakfast and the sleeper was left there The day coach trip though long was very comfortable I made some pleasant acquaintances from New Hampshire When I reached Washington at 10.45 went directly to The Hotel and to bed. Friday March 31st 1933 I got up early did some writing had breakfast and was ready for the 8.25 train to Chillicothe, A trip through hills and mountains most of the day. John met me at 9.20 We were soon at their home. Went to bed soon after Saturday April 1st 1933 I did some writing in the forenoon I rested in PM [Marie] Briggs came for a call Mrs [Wingett]? was here her brother [Dary]? [Dunlap]? came for her and stayed awhile Sunday April 2- 1933 It rained so we did not go out in the forenoon It cleared off later so John took us a ride out over the hills and through the cemetery Evening at home reading and listening to the radio. Ben Still and nieces called. I had letter here from Lena and [Dora] and Les Brown
