Saturday July 8- 1933 I gave the rooms a good cleaning. At ten oclock made to [Oxford]? with Rob. I did some mending in PM. a [illegible] day. with heavy rain at 5- oclock card from Mrs [Doyle]?. They are back in Long Beach. To bed early Sunday July 9- 1933 I went to church with [Elenor]? Anderson. Celt went to Chicago I wrote Mrs Doyle [&]? Lorna. The [Byringtons]? came for me to spend the ofternoon. The evening on the porch. Mr [Gay]? home from trip [illegible] Monday July 10- 1933 I did some sewing and wrote Ida. had a letter from her. When I read The Des Moines paper I saw the notice for Williams death. I slept awhile in PM. The evening on the porch with Mrs [Gartner]? wrote a note to [Rob]? [Celt]? Tuesday July 11- 1933 I read the paper and wrote [Lorna]?. Did some telephoning letter from [Winnie]? Rob took me up town in PM. Home by Bus. Evening on the porch alone Wednesday July 12- 1933 [Alberta]? [&]? [Cora]? here in AM I sewed in ofternoon. The evening on the porch with Mrs Gay. Celt home from Chicago Thursday July 13- 1933 I sewed some in AM ofter doing working. Rested in ofternoon. Celt took me home with him for supper [illegible] there. The [Reds]? met at Hatties. The [Byrington]? Girls away for two meals. Mary [illegible] brought me home at 9.30
