Sunday October 1st 1933 I slept late but was ready when celt came to take me to SS. went home with him from church. [illegible] ofter dinner he went away with Joe Walker. William brought me home at three oclock. wrote Birdie in evening a beautiful day. Monday October 2- 1933 I did some working in AM with Mrs Larson [illegible] [&]? [Elane]? were here most of the ofternoon I did a little sewing and read some in evening weather fine Tuesday October 3- 1933 I put up tomatoes that Mrs Gay gave me. Did some ironing. celt here for dinner. I went up town by Bus did some errands. Cora here late in ofternoon and Mary in the evening. Letters from Mrs Paul Fletcher card from [Lorna]? and letter from Ida. wrote [Lorna]? and card to [Winnie]? celt brought 50.00 from Murphy. I paid Mrs Gay 30.00 rent to Dec 1st Wednesday October 4- 1933 I did the morning work and went up to The Church by bus. The Hunters brought me home at 3.30. I was very tired and lay down and slept till 5.30. After supper wrote Hattie and took it to the mail box. fine day Thursday October 5- 1933 Mary told me this morning that Le Erand had to go to the Phillipine Island Jan 1st. He will be here about the 20- of this month. I decided to go to Chicago Saturday. a letter from Hattie. wrote to Hattie. Winnie. cards to Birdie [&]? [Lorna]? celt here for dinner. I sewed some in PM. Took a nap and wrote Mrs Falk Ida. Sir King [&]? Will [&]? Flora [Levagood]? William [&]? Mary in [illegible]
