Tuesday November 7- 1933 Lorna busy most of the day getting ready for company tonight.[(]?Edith SS class/ but she took time to go with Mrs Woolf to a committee meeting The Woolfs stopped for a call. There was about forty ladies here in the evening. a good supper and [solid]? time quite cold. Wednesday November 8- 1933 Lorna took Edith to school ad we washed the dishes [hed]? last night. Lorna took a couple of ladies to the cemetery to see about some work. In PM we went to The Womans club at Mrs [Elomores]?. Later got The Biggs girls and drove out after Edith. I read in evening Thursday November 9- 1933 It was cold. it kept Lorna busy with the fires she prepared a couple of chickens to take to the church supper After Edith came we got ready to go to the supper I met many I knew Letters from Hattie [&]? Winnie Friday November 10- 1933 A little more [madrote]? today. I was here all day. did some reading. Cora Reece here to call in PM. Lorna busy Saturday November 11- 1933 Letter from Hattie who tells me word from Le Erand says he has [haved]? examination. Will be at Angel Island for six month. Then [horribly]? The Phillipiens. Lorna took me over to Lizzie Duncans to spend the aftermorn and came for me. Edith busy with help in the yard most of the day. I read in a book in evening
