Saturday April 28- 1934 The Whitstones to Cedar Rapids. They asked me to go with them. I was too busy. Did some ironing Celt here for dinner. Mary took me up town a few minutes in the ofternoon. Mallie here awhile. I crotched some Sunday April 29- 1934 I wrote Birdie before Celt came to take me to church. Went home with him and William brought me home at 5- oclock. I wrote Mrs Falk. Mrs Dinse [&]? Winnie Monday April 30- 1934 I did some crotchet in forenoon. William came at one oclock to take me up town. Was at Dr Smiths office. Then went by Bus out to Andersons. Was with Aunt Emma till nearly six olcock. weathers warm Tuesday May 1st- 1934 I was home all day. Celt here for dinner he brought my bank statement I have a balance of $594.60 I slept in afternoon and worked on Mrs Gay table cover Wednesday May 2- 1934 I did washing and cleaning Celt here for dinner Hattie came and Mrs Gay took us to The church. Hattie stopped at Dr [illegible] office when Mrs Newcomb brought us home Hattie came on down here till Rob came for her. The Dr says the trouble is such in her shoulder that she must not use her arm for awhile. Letter from Ida. I worked on Mrs Gays cover in evening. No rain yet. very warm. wrote Carsin [illegible] and Alice Candors
