Tuesday May 8- 1934 I was doing some sewing on slips I am working over Celt here for dinner a letter from Lorna. Wednesday May 9- 1934 I did some cooking in forenoon as well as some washing. very hot. I sewed some. Celt here for dinner. Hatties birth-day She was down town to have lunch with The Swisher Girls and to a show. A shower in the evening. Thursday May 16- 1934 There was a dirt storm late in the night that I found the house in such a fix I worked till two oclock to get it clean. Hattie [&]? Cora came at two oclock and very soon Dr Ned Smith. He cut out this sore on the side of my neck that has troubled for a year. It was a year today since the first radium treatment. I stand it nicely Hattie got us some supper, Rob came for her at nine oclock. Friday May 11- 1934 I did not sleep much last night. Dr came and dressed the sore soon after dinner. I slept awhile Later Hattie came to stay awhile. Wrote Lorna in AM [illegible] Mrs Falk later Saturday May 12- 1934 I did more cleaning and washing in forenoon slept most of the afternoon. The Dr here late to dress the sore. Says it is doing well. Some rain and cooler. I wrote Ida as I had a letter from her today and also wrote Alberta in the evening Will [&]? I were married 48 years ago today.
