Monday July 23- 1934 I am 83 years old today I was lying down most of the time my heart troubles me. The girls busy most of the day. I came downstairs to sleep I sent cards to Haddie and Winnie Tuesday July 26- 1934 I was not able to get up Lorna called Dr Fuchler I did not sit up all day. Letter from celt card from Elouis Hedges Wednesday July 24- 1934 The Dr came early to see me Later the Woolfs came I was not of the bed all day. Lorna takes care of me Thursday July 26- 1934 I was in bed all day except for a few minutes I was up to write Hattie I was sick I dont take any solid food very hot. The fan on all the time Harry called up Friday July 27- 1934 It turned some cooler though there was no rain here Mrs Fackler spent part of the oftermorn here and Mr Meister called. Letter from Hattie very tired tonight Saturday July 28- 1934 I was up in the aftermorn and did some writing Letter to Ida. Celt [&]? Winnie cards to Birdie Mrs Filk Elouise Harry [&]? Mable Lorna took mail up town I was on the porch in evening Hattie telephoned Sunday July 29- 1934 Lorna here all AM. Edith I sat up while the Dr was here. Edith to SS [&]? [illegible] to make a call. I was on the porch in the evening. Very hot again
