Thursday January 1st 1931 I did some ironing in the AM. William came for me at noon. We had a nice dinner Later Mary took Buddy to a party and we went up to Whetstones. Cora still in bed. I stopped at home Weather milder Wrote Birdie & read in a book Friday January 2- 1931 I did some washing and got dinner. Hattie here in the afternoon awhile. We stitched her radiator covers I read most of the evening. letter from Anna Henslee Saturday January 3- 1931 Did some ironing wrote Winnie and C. Coddington got a nice dinner. Ott here to eat with me. I walked uptown. got this book. Was at the Smith Boys office. Then to Dr. [Urban?] for treatment. Stopped at Library letter from Mrs Falk Sunday January 4- 1931 Ott took me to church. Later Rob took me to their house. he brought me home at four oclock I wrote Laura and read in the evening, after being downstairs awhile Monday January 5- 1931 I did quite a lot of washing in the forenoon and fixed a pink gingham dress over that I made some time ago No mail I was downstairs awhile in the evening listening to the radio. Then finished a book from the library. a cold cloudy day.
