Monday May 25- 1931 Mary took me up town to do errands early in the forenoon. I sewed on a dress all my spare time. Hattie here awhile. I went out to Aunt Emmas after supper. Did not get home till 9.30 fine day. Tuesday May 26- 1931 I was busy sewing all day. I had letters from Ida and Elizabeth McCallister. I wrote Laura and sent that letter on to her. Mrs Gay doing house cleaning. Wednesday May 27- 1931 I was busy sewing all day got my dress with the ruffles about done. Read in evening, after taking a ride with Mrs Gay. A warm day. Thursday May 28- 1931 I did some washing and wrote Winnie then sewed some. Mary took me up town in PM. Did errands. called at The Jefferson on Mrs Currier & Miss Hammond. saw Dr McBride. Home by Bus. found a letter here from Laura. Wrote her. Hattie & Cora took me home with them for supper. Rob brought me home. Friday May 29- 1931 Rob Whetstone 48 years old today. I did ironing and some sewing in AM. Later finished my light silk dress Charney Neil called in PM. Later Mary took me to Dr Urbans office for treatment In the evening I wrote Paul McCallister at Hereford Texas and to Ella Nagle and The Lovegoods in Chicago Letters from Winnie and Lois Simpson in Oregon
