Saturday June 27- 1931 I seeded some cherries for Edith. Then wrote Cousin Jen. Will. Lovegood & Mattie Stitt before dinner Rested in the PM. and rode after supper. Sunday June 28- 1931 Very hot but we went to church. slept in the PM. Rode after supper taking Birdie Hatten with us. Monday June 29- 1931 Last night was terrible Edith and I will sleep down stairs tonight. She washed in AM. Laura busy with other things. We slept in PM. I wrote Hattie. Tuesday June 30- 1931 Still very not. I was home all day. The girls up town in the afternoon We rode after supper taking Mrs Baldwin with us. Letter from Hattie telling of their trip to Chicago. Laura came down stairs to sleep. Rob & Coras wedding day Wednesday July 1st I rode up town with the girls in AM. Wrote Winnie slept some in PM awful hot. Laura and I took a short ride after supper. Then sat on the porch. Thursday July 2- 1931 Still hot wrote Hattie in AM. The girls busy about their picnic tonight. It looked like rain I did not go. Friday July 3- 1931 I picked over goose berries in AM. Went over to town with the girls afternoon and stopped at Sophia Woolfs After supper over again I went with them. Weather cooler after rain last night. What a relief
