Monday July 20- 1931 Rob brought me home at nine oclock. I did some work about the house and got dinner. Hattie here in afternoon. After supper Ott drove over for me. He had been in Davenport. We had a pleasant visit. William & Mary brought us home. letter from Mrs Falk Tueday July 21st 1931 I did a lot of washing. Letters from Winnie. Ott was taken sick so could not go to Idaho as he expected to start in the afternoon. William and took me down to Julia Mc. Hattie & Cora came past and brought me home. Later I had a ride with Rob and he left me at Otts to spend the evening Later William brought me home. Wednesday July 22- 1931 I did some ironing this morning Wrote Mrs George Miller and her Father. A letter from Emma Herriott. Slept in PM. Tishie was here. She and Jennie go to Delavan tomorrow. Ott not well I went to picture show in evening with The Whetstones and Mrs Barber. Thursday July 28- 1931 I am 80 years old today. Did some work about the rooms. Wrote Emma Herriott. Ott is better this morning I did some mending in afternoon as well as ironing Then slept awhile. Went to Byington with The Whetstones after supper. Ott no better. They had another Dr who agrees with the other. I went home with The Whetstones came back by taxi at ten oclock letter from Laura.
