Wednesday July 29- 1931 I wrote Ida in AM. A letter from Laura. I was home all day. a very hot day. LeGrand took me up to Hatties after supper. Then came for me. It was eleven oclock when he brought me home. Wrote to Ida Thursday July 30- 1931 I slept little last night. LeGrand here a few moments. Ott had a better night. He was not so well last night. Hattie feels wretched with a cold. Wrote Laura. Le Grand and I at Hatties all evening Friday July 31st 1931 Le Grand came for me to go to Stevens at ten oclock. We came back to Otts for lunch Then he brought me home. A slight shower I slept a while. After supper LeGrand and I called at [Mersers?] and then went on to Hatties. Ott is better tonight. Very warm. letter from Birdie Saturday August 1st 1931 I did some extra work and Mary took me up town to do some errands. I wrote Laura Winnie & Cousin Ella in PM and slept awhile. A shower late in afternoon. LeGrand and I called at Jeff McCallister & Aunt Emmas in the evening Sunday Aug 2- 1931 Rob & Hattie took me to SS & Church. I went home with them to dinner. Late in the afternoon Cora took us over to see Ott. We went in and spoke to him. I stopped at home. Here alone and cool enough to sit up stairs & read.
