Thursday September 3- 1931 I wrote Winnie Emma Herriott Laura & Edith Will & Flora Mrs [Dinse] & The Culbertsons in AM. The Crosbys called Late in the afternoon Hattie and I came down home with Elmer Anderson. brought lunch to eat here and later Mrs Barber went with us to picture show and took us home. Rob in Des Moines The Crosbys called. Wrote LeGrand in PM Friday September 4- 1931 I packed up my things and when Rob took his Mother to a luncheon I stopped here at home to do some packing. I went home with them at supper time. Later Rob took us over to Byingtons. William & Mary brought us home. I stopped here for the night. Wrote Laura. Saturday September 5 - 1931 I had breakfast with Mrs Gay. William took me to the AM train to go to Chicago. Winnie met me we went out on The Elevated. After supper we went to a picture show. She is nicely situated here. Sunday September 6 - 1931 It was late when we got up. I wrote Hattie After dinner we went away out on The North Side to The Rader Tabernacle to church service I did some telephoning I talked to Mabel McDougall She told me Ann Henslee had died some time ago. Emma Herriott called up for a talk.
