Tuesday January 5- 1932 This is Mothers birth-day and 17 years today Hattie and I started to Florida Hattie came down with Rob to spend the day. It rained all day. Dr Ned Smith to see me in AM. Ott & Rob both here late in the PM. I had a letter telling Mrs Clute died in August. Letter from Mrs Falk. Wrote her in evening Wednesday January 6- 1932. Hattie came for awhile early. Then went to The Church William here with a check Ott sent me for $60.00 Later Mrs. Gay cashed it for me and I paid her 35.00 the rest on this months rent. I wrote LeGrand in AM. and in PM wrote Laura & Edith got a little box ready for them Had letter from Ida & Grace McCallister wrote Ida. cold day Thursday January 7- 1932 I did not feel very well today I had a letter from Ida Roxie Roboneov & Alice Robinson. Hattie here late in the afternoon She had been to the funeral of Mr Robert Taylor and one of the ladies at The Home. Ott called before supper and gave me some money. Friday January 8- 1932 I had letter from Winnie & Laura this morning she sent one from Grace Mc. I wrote to Laura and sent it back. Hattie here after going to Charlie Ryersons funeral she went up town to pay bills for me. Ott here later gave me 12.50 After supper I wrote Mrs Soderman who was on the train with me coming from Los Angeles.
