Monday January 25- 1932 The Dr called as he went to the office. I was comfortable But spent the day in bed. Letter from Ida. Nellie better Ott here at noon. Later Dr Lemon. Aunt Emma and Anna were here. After them Cora came. I had a short spell of pain early in the evening. A fire up town last night did great damage. Two persons burned to death Cora here too Weather fine. Tuesday January 26- 1932 I felt pretty good in AM. Hattie went home with Rob to lunch. Mrs Gay brought me up a nice dinner I was in bed most of the afternoon Hattie busy with her quilt. Ott here late afternoon William & Mary in evening Letters from Laura. Ida & Will Work. also Alice Condon Wednesday January 27- 1932 I felt enough better that early in the afternoon Dr Ned Smith took me to Dr Whites for examination He did not find anything more than Dr Ned had. Hattie came up too. Ott here awhile. Cora came in the evening and staid with me while Hattie went to show Weather fine Thursday January 28- 1932. In bed most of AM. Letter from Winnie & Emma Herriott I wrote Laura Ida Emma Herriott & Winnie soon after dinner. Hattie up town late in PM. Ott came for quite a call before he went to The Church for supper Hattie had letter from Edith Whetstone that Ardelle Blackburn was very ill. I read a little. William & Mary here in the evening for short call
