Tuesday February 23- 1932. I did some work about the house in AM. Hattie came early in PM. Later Tishie Hedges here. Then came back after she had been to the bank to get their first dividend. Ott here a few moments. I read awhile in evening. To bed early. letter from Ida. Wednesday February 24- 1932. I got a good nights sleep. Did the AM work. letters from Winnie & Mary Cox read the paper and wrote Mrs Falk. Hattie here in PM and Cora came later. Rob brought me 55.00 after putting away $100. for me in his deposit box. Mrs Gay came up after supper to tell me Charlie Shrader committed suicide at the PO. he was Post master. wrote Ida. Thursday February 25- 1931 I felt better most of the day. Hattie here part of the afternoon. Rob Cora & Ott here Later. I had a letter from Emma Herriott & wrote Winnie. A fine day. The man put in the dial phone. Friday February 26- 1932. Hattie down in AM. to work on her quilt. Rob took her with him to Oxford then home. Ott here before he went home. He is not very well. Dr Lemon called. fine day Saturday February 27- 1932 I was busy about the rooms in AM. was reading some. Hattie & I did not try to go to The Elder Daughters party I rode to Oxford with Rob in PM. Ott here later Dr Ned Smith here a moment. Read in evening.
