Monday April 11- 1932. I did a little washing. Mary came to take me up town. I read some in PM. Louise Hughes here for a long call. The Byingtons to Cedar Rapids in PM. The Whetstones busy with sewing and other things Tuesday April 12- 1932. I did some ironing. had letter from Laura and wrote to her. Hattie here all afternoon Ott here on his way home to see about my check for the 10 pr ct from The Citizens Bank. Wrote LeGrand in the evening Wednesday April 13- 1932. Did up the work. Wrote The Brown Girls at Piketon Rob & Cora out of town. They called at Carthage Ill to see Harry & Nellie. I went up to Hatties by taxi The Byingtons there in the evening to bring me home They took Ott to the station to get in sleeper for Chicago Thursday April 14- 1932. Was busy most of the forenoon, but rode down to the garden with Mrs Gay. Rested in afternoon. In evening went over to The Legion Bld with Mrs Gay to see merchants display. Wrote Birdie & Winnie in evening too Friday April 15- 1932. I slept late. Did the work, read some. Letter from Winnie that needed a reply so wrote a note to her. I rode to Oxford with Rob. Enjoyed it so much I read in the evening and Mrs Gay up awhile It rained early in the evening.
