Tuesday May 3- 1932 I ironed curtains in AM. After dinner put them up and put others in water ready to wash. Very tired and lay down for some time. Letter from Laura. Wrote Mrs Falk & Ella Nagle in evening Ott brought me Wednesday May 4- 1932. I put more curtains to dry. Got ready and went to The Church by Bus soon after ten oclock. Mary brought me home at one oclock. Hattie came later to stay till supper time. A letter from Grace McCallister They are bad of down there so much sickness I wrote Laura in evening and sent the letter on. I wrote Gertrude Mitchell as her Father is dead. A note to Nellie Boswell too. Thursday May 5- 1932. I ironed curtains, washed windows & wood work in front room. Then put them up. I rested after dinner Went home with Hattie & Cora for supper. Back with Rob. Wrote Winnie Friday May 6- 1932. I washed more curtains. Worked at cleaning most of the day. There was several showers. There are many young people here to Musical Convention. Letter from Winnie. She will come out. Wrote Frank Fletcher in evening William Byington 34 years old today. Saturday May 7- 1932 I put up curtains in AM. Letter from The Brown Girls in Piketon. Rested in PM. Went home with Ott at supper time They brought me home at 8.30 Dear Wills birth-day. He has been gone nearly 14 years.
