Monday June 6- 1932. Weather showery. Hattie here in AM. We both slept in PM. Ott here late. brought $50.00 from Murphy Went over to vote at Legion Bld in AM. Tuesday June 7- 1932. We got ready to go to Louise Hughes to Elder Daughters party. William came to take us. We had such a good time Came home by Bus. Weather not so hot as yesterday. Read all evening Wednesday June 8- 1932. Cool and pleasant. William took Winnie and me up town to do some errands. I was at The doctors office, to get some medicine Rob & Ott took an early start to drive to Chicago. Rested in PM. Just before I went to bed. Mrs Gay brought up paper telling that W. J McChesney had died at Daytona Beach Flo. yesterday Thursday June 9- 1932. Did AM work. Wrote LeGrand & Emma Herriott We rested in afternoon and read some. Weather fine Friday June 10- 1932. I did some washing and other work. Winnie sewing on her dress. Wrote Mrs Falk, Ott got home from Chicago tonight. Letter from LeGrand Saturday June 11- 1932. I did ironing. Mary took Winnie up town. I wrote Laura & Edith in afternoon. We both lay down awhile. I had a slight attack of the trouble I had so long in the winter. Read in evening
