107 Sunday Juy 3- 1932. It rained all night. We slept late. Ott took us up to The Congregational Church to hear Dr Hanley. Hattie came down there. We took her home. at four oclock Winnie & I went up the street to a musical. Hattie there. She came home with us for supper. She walked home. Monday July 4- 1932. We spent the A M here. Rested after dinner. Ott came at three oclock and took us up to Hatties Supper there. Then Rob drove Otts car and we went over to The Park to see the crowd. Ott brought us home before dark. The folks here away. rain in the evening Tuesday July 5- 1932. I gave the rooms a good cleaning with Mrs Gays vacuem cleaner. Winnie up town to get a tooth put in her plate she broke out yesterday. After dinner I rode to Oxford with Rob. slept some. evening here Wednesday July 6- 1932. I talked with Mrs Gay this morning about the possibility of making a change next year on account of expense. Letter from Ida. Very warm. Slept some in PM On the porch in the evening Thursday July 7- 1932. I made raspberry jam and wrote Ida in forenoon Letter from Mrs Falk. Ott took me up town after lunch. Was up in the office to talk with him about a change of place to live. Did some shopping for myself. Letter from Laura and wrote her. Read in evening.
