Friday July 8- 1932. I went around to pay the phone bill. Did some sewing. Slept after dinner. We went up to look at rooms in The Old Clark house. Then went on out to Aunt Emmas & Elmers for the evening Saturday July 9- 1932. I was busy most of the forenoon. Hattie spent the afternoon here. It rained some. I was down on the porch most of the evening. Ott here at 5-oclock brought me $50.00 from Will Murphy (interest money) Sunday July 10- 1932. There was a frightful storm last night. It kept us awake so long. Ott took us to S S & Church We went home with him for dinner. William & Mary brought us home, at four oclock. I rested awhile and then got some lunch We talked most of the evening. Monday July 11- 1932. I rode to Oxford with Rob. Winnie did some ironing. Slept in P.M. Hattie here a little while Tuesday July 12- 1932. I went up to see Dr Ned Smith. He gave me a very good report. Did errands and walked home. Very hot. Rested in PM. Hattie here awhile. Later on the porch. Wednesday July 13- 1932. Letter from Laura. They start home today. Mary took us to look at impossible rooms in AM. After supper went around to Mr Kosers to talk about rooms. The Byingtons took us over there for the evening frightfully hot
