111 Monday July 25- 1932. I felt very tired after two days of so much riding and visiting I was busy about the house most of the AM. slept part of the afternoon still very warm. Home evening Tuesday July 26- 1932 I sewed most of the day to fix a dress I bought lately. Winnie up town in AM. Mary went to Des Moines today. I rested some. Evening here at home. Wednesday July 27- 1932. I did some washing. Rob here early he said he would take me to Peoria Friday. Hattie here later she and Cora are going too In the afternoon I wrote Mrs Falk, ME Culbertson, Ella Nagle, Nellie & Ida. Winnie went to the mail box and library Thursday July 28- 1932 Ott took us up town in AM. I did several errands and came home by Bus. Did ironing before dinner Rested in PM and did packing. a letter from Lizzie Duncan tells Maurice Culbertsons wife is dead. Ott here a moment on his way home. Went to bed early. Friday July 29- 1932. I got my breakfast and was ready to leave at six oclock when The Whetstones came for me. Reached Peoria at 10.30 The Mason Girls found us at The Pere Marquette. We had a fine lunch there The Whetstones started right back. Mr Meister was with us coming out home. Dr Fochler called Went to bed early such a wonderful day. So happy to be here again Weather cooler
