115 Saturday August 13- 1932. It rained most of the day. We were busy most of the day. Late in afternoon Laura and I rode up town and called at Mrs Anders an Mrs Flager Sunday August 14- 1932. We went to S.S. After dinner rested awhile then took a ride inviting Mrs Rob Orendorf to go with us. Called on Mrs Lizzie Culbertson and her sons wife. The evening on the porch at home. Wrote Hattie Monday August 15- 1932. We left about ten oclock to The Mrs Culbertsons to Peoria. Had lunch at The Pere Marquette. Then did some shopping. We rode home in a shower. Such a day to be remembered. Evening on the porch Tuesday August 16- 1932. I had letters from Winnie Ott & Julia McCallister that told Carrie Anderson is some better. I also had a letter from Mattie Stitt. We went over to Woolfs for dinner. Other company there. Very warm. a pleasant visit. The evening on the porch. Wednesday August 17- 1932. Laura and I up town in the car in AM. Called at The Davidson girls home. I wrote Julia McCallister I fixed the pillow cases I had made trimming for. Edith washed. There was a shower late in forenoon It turned cooler in the evening The girls have made arrangements to take me home Monday next
