Thursday October 6- 1932 Wrote note to Mary Taylor, and cards to Paul Whetstone Mrs Moore Mrs Ben Price Alice Brown. Letter from Maurice Culbertson. sent card to him. Later letters to Laura & Edith & LeGrand. supper here. Evening down stairs. I went to Dr Burge in afternoon to see about the sore on my neck. Friday October 7- 1932. I was in my room most of the forenoon Mrs Wade phoned asking me to spend Sunday PM at her home with Belle Murry & Clem Ashley. I wrote Caroline Peakham Lois Simpson & Blanche Black. After lunch went up to San Carlos hotel to call on Madame Van Seibert Wrote a note to Will Work. Then dressed to go home with Dr Burge. After supper they took me over to spend the evening with Anna McCallister. They put me on a car for The hotel at ten oclock. Letter here from Hattie. Saturday October 8- 1932. Telephone calls from Mrs Searles, Alice Brown, Roxie [Robaneov] & Grace Taylor. Card from Mrs Doyle. Went to Dr Burge in AM After lunch out to Mrs Ben Price. Etta Jenett there. The Price brought me home. Wrote Mrs Searles. Down stairs awhile Sunday October 9- 1932. I went out to Taylors. Grace and I to The Presbyterian Church The Hartsocks were interested in. After dinner to Mrs Wades. Later Belle Murry & Clem came. a nice supper together. Maggie Crosby and daughter came. Such a pleasant party of old friends The girls put me on the car at eight oclock. reached The Rosslyn at 9-oclock. Letters from Mrs Moore & Winnie
