Saturday October 29- 1932 I went to breakfast while the train was in Cheyenne The day seemed long I went into The Observation in the PM and listened to the radio. Reached Omaha at 8.20 Poor acomodations on hand. So to the Paxton hotel for the night. Sunday October 30- 1932. I slept late and expected to go home in the afternoon I called Jim Cameron to inquire how they were. He sad Birdie was to come in the afternoon and insisted I stay I wrote letters to Hattie Le Grand Grace McCallister & Ott Seibert. Cards to Mrs Falk Mattie Stitt Laura & Edith Grace Taylor & Emily Toon. Jim came for me at 2.30 and later to the depot for Birdie. A pleasant evening here with them Monday October 31st 1932. Visited with Birdie & Mary in forenoon at three oclock Jim & Birdie came with me to the station. Reached here at 10.40 Rob & Cora met me. Letter here from Mollie Williams I went right to bed, leaving unpacking till tomorrow. Tuesday November 1st 1932. I put my things in place. I had a delightful month away from home. Got things in to keep house. Hattie here in PM. William took me over there for supper Ott brought me home. Read Delavan papers in evening Wednesday November 2- 1932 Went to church to all day meeting Down stairs in the evening Wrote Joe & Mollie Williams Letter from Winnie & card from Laura Wrote her.
