Saturday December 31st. 1932. I put away my Christmas presents and gave the house a good going over. It took all the forenoon. I read the paper and wrote Mrs Barber in California Mollie Stevens here later in the afternoon After supper I wrote Mrs Falk and a note to Miss E. B Moore and Herbert as it told in tonights paper that Herberts wife had died. I saw all of them when in Los Angeles in October. I talked with Mrs Van Metre about it.
