Tuesday January 15 1929 It was intensely cold. I worked at the towels for the store all day. Read in evening Wednesday January 16th 1929 I worked at the towels most of the day. Not quite so cold. Hattie came in the afternoon. Rob came after supper and took us to the S.U.I. play. Robert Jelliam had a part. It was very good. Thursday January 17 1929 It was late when I had breakfast. Wrote Harry Rome at Altadena. I went up town in PM. Paid bill at Means, did other errands. Wrote to Lydia too. Sewed in evening. Mrs Gay ill Friday January 18 1929 I did some washing and worked on towels. Rob brought some more in AM. A very cold day. Saturday January 19 1929 I went up to the Miller Feed store and bought some things at a food sale. Went on up town for other things. Did some ironing before dinner. Tishie & Elouise here part of afternoon. I was up town after they left. After supper wrote Mattie Stitt Mrs Doyle Winnie and to Fred Beecher I wrote Ben Pittsford about Delavan dinner. A letter from Fred Beecher. Sunday January 20 1929 I went to church in a taxi. Mary came for Ott and I went home with them. She brought me home at 4.30. Rested awhile after supper wrote LeGrand and sister Ida. Then read awhile.
