Saturday February 2nd 1929 I wrote some to Cousin Jen and sent Lydias letter to her. Rob came for me at noon. Stayed up at Hatties till nearly five oclock. Home by taxi. Stopped at library. Did some ironing. Letter from Louis Simpson. Card from L D L. Sunday February 3rd 1929 I went to church by taxi. Rob and Hattie brought me home. After dinner slept awhile. Wrote Mrs. Falk and Lizzie Lindley and read some. Weather not quite so cold. Monday February 4th 1929 I was busy all forenoon cleaning cupboards and doing some cooking. I had a letter from Winnie with clipping from Chicago paper to tell that Warner died the 31st and was buried Feb 2nd. I will miss writing to him. I went up town to pay bills. Met Hattie & Cora at The Englert to see picture. got supper and read all evening. Tuesday February 5th 1929. I was sewing part of the day. Slept in afternoon. A nice letter from Ott Seibert. I wrote Alice Condon in the evening. It thawed some today. Wednesday February 6th 1929 I went to the all day meeting at the church. Did some errands on the way home. Letter from Alma Wenig and Mrs Falk. I read in evening. Emma Fellman here to talk about a dress. Thursday February 7th 1929. I was home all day. Wrote Nellie Lee and Winnie in AM. sewed on towels in afternoon. In evening wrote Mrs. Doyle and read in book. Weather wintry.
