Tuesday April 16th 1929 I went out to McCalls in the AM. A pleasant call with Mabel. But how I miss Warner. Soon after lunch we went out to see The Woolfs. So glad we went. Got supper down town and went to a show at The Chicago Theater. Home at ten oclock. Wednesday April 17th 1929 Letter from Hattie wanting us to come meet her at Englewood tomorrow morning. After dinner Winnie and I went to see Mrs. Dinse. Pleasant call. Evening at home. Weather cool. Wrote Louie Bremner. Thursday April 18th 1929 We got up early and had a crowded time on the cars. Did not stop at the right station. But found it later. Ida was with Hattie on the way to Milwaukee. We had a good visit there together. Hattie and I had a comfortable trip home. Carol and Blanche met us. I went home with them for supper and Rob brought me home. I unpacked my things and went to bed. Friday April 19th 1929 It rained all day. I wrote Winnie and looked over papers. Blanche went home. Her father took her to Cedar Rapids. I slept in PM. Evening to Byingtons with Cora & Hattie. Saturday April 20th 1929 A year ago today I got home from Florida. I wrote Lydia and went up town at eleven oclock. Was up in Ott's office. Paid light bill and got in things for the table. I surely had a fine trip. So glad I went. Wrote Ida.
