Sunday June 9th 1929 We had a nice day. I rode with Hattie in their car. William driving. (Rob & Cora did not go). We got Birdie on our way to The Park where we had dinner. I rode with The Byingtons on the way home. I got some supper, read awhile and was ready for bed. A day to remember. Monday June 10th 1929 I got my bureau emptied and things ready to let my bed room furniture be taken away. The men brought my table early in PM. I did some cleaning. Worked on rug. Tuesday June 11th 1929 Fannie called early to tell me Alie Halson and husband had been drowned out in Montana and would be brought here for burial. I had a letter from Laura Mason. She will be here tomorrow driving over with The Woolfs. I worked on my rug. LeGrand here in the morning for a call. There was a hard rain at noon and early evening. Wednesday June 12th 1929 A letter from Winnie tells she is back from her brothers funeral. I was busy about the house most of the forenoon. The Woolfs and Laura got here at 2.30. Mrs Gay took Laura and me out to Aunt Ermas. When we got back at four oclock Cora took us over to Fannies to get Hattie and we went up there a little while. Laura did some telephoning while I got supper. Orie & Hazel, Ida & Elmer, Ed & Ada, Jeff Mc--- and family and Mildred Stevens here in evening. LeGrand & Alberta drove over into Ill today to see friends of Albertas.
