Thursday June 27th 1929 I felt very weak and bad all day. But got the meals and did the ironing. Orie Spencer here in the AM and Ida Anderson in PM for a call. I wrote Laura and sent letters from Alice Corwine. The Byingtons came after supper. We went to the cemetery and home with them till bed time. Friday June 28th 1929 I went to the dentists this morning. Was at The Doctor and Otts office. Got the dinner after I came home. Laura Cate here most of the PM. Hattie came too. The Byingtons took us over there for supper and to ride before they brought us home. A beautiful day. I had letters from Laura & Mattie Still. Saturday June 29th 1929 We were both home all day. I wrote Winnie, Mattie Fletcher and Harry Moran. After supper Ida and I went up town for things for the table. The Whetstones went to Des Moines today and and did not get home till bed time. very warm. Sunday June 30th 1929 Ida and I went to church by taxi. Mr Wylie was in the pulpit today. The Byingtons left at 9:30 for an Auto trip west where Ott goes on business. Hattie came home with us from church. A hard rain. We read and rested. The lights and awhile in the evening. Monday July 1st 1929 It was late when we had breakfast. Ida went up town. Hattie & Cora here awhile. Letter from L D L. Wrote to her. We slept awhile in PM. I read some. weather pleasant.
