Sunday July 7th 1929 Ida and I went to church by taxi. Rode home with The Andersons. Read some and wrote Lydia. We sat on the porch in evening and read books. Monday July 8th 1929 I finished Hatties rug in forenoon. Ida up town. Hattie here awhile in afternoon. Word from Byingtons good. Tuesday July 9th 1929 I did some washing and sewed in afternoon. I ironed after supper. I had letters from Winnie, Laura and Nellie Lee and cards from The Byingtons. Wednesday July 10th 1929 I went up town, paid grocery bill at Means. Went to the bank and got new currency. Hattie called at noon to say The Byingtons would be home tonight. Hattie says she has that poison in her face again. I wrote all afternoon. Letters to Winnie, Lydia, Joe Woolf, Mattie Fletcher & Harry Able. Sent some papers too. Thursday July 11th 1929 I sewed in forenoon. Mary came and took us up to Hatties in the afternoon. She has poison in her face. We got Ott and went to the cemetery. I wrote Birdie. letter from Mrs Doyle. Later wrote Edith Whetstone & Alice Condon. Friday July 12th 1929 Ida sewing on her dress. I did some sewing. Ott here a few moments in afternoon. After supper The Byingtons took us to ride. We were at the cemetery and up to see Hattie. Very warm.
