Saturday July 13th 1929 Very warm. I did some sewing. Ida finished her dress. She had word they have sold her place out of Granville. I went up town after supper and so did Ida. Sunday July 14th 1923 We slept late. Rob came to take us for a ride. Was up at Hatties a few moments. Soon as we got home William came and took us over there for dinner. It rained. They brought us home at four oclock. Monday July 15th 1929 I was busy with the wash most of the forenoon. Ida did her packing and went to the PO to mail a box home. Mary came to take her to the 2.45 train for Burlington. Then we went up to Hatties awhile. She is suffering so much. I read in the evening. Tuesday July 16th 1929 I did some washing. Had letters from Birdie, Lydia and Mabel McDougall. I rested in the afternoon, did some reading. I had my supper early. Ott & Mary with Buddy came. we went to the cemetery and up to Hatties awhile. Wednesday July 17th 1929 I did my ironing. Mrs Gay washed sheets for me. I cleaned the rooms good. After dinner washed my hair and rested awhile. I had early supper and went home with Rob at six oclock. I stayed with Hattie while he and Cora went for a ride. Hattie was down on the porch.
