Wednesday July 24th 1929 I was home all day. Worked on the rug. Washed my burgundy dress. Mary came at 5 oclock. We got Ott and went to ride and to the cemetery. Evening on the porch. Thursday July 25th 1929 I did some washing and worked on rug. Wrote Winnie in afternoon and slept awhile. very warm. On the porch in the evening. Friday July 26th 1929 Still warm. Bro Ott here for dinner. Minnie Showers called in PM. I wrote Mattie Stitt, Gertrude Mitchell & The Seiberts. Mary & Ott came for me. We got Hattie to go with us to the Cemetery. Then we rode awhile. I went home with The Byingtons. Back home at 8.30. Saturday July 27th 1929 Mary took Hattie & me to Stevens. We got some groceries when we got back. I had dinner and slept awhile. Do not feel very well. Letters from LeGrand and Joe Woolf. Evening on the porch alone part of time. Sunday July 28th 1929 I did not feel like going to church. Did some things about the house. In early afternoon wrote Lydia and Will & Flora Livergood. About 4.30 The Byingtons came. We got Hattie and went to the cemetery. Then to Oakdale and home with them for picnic supper. Stayed on the porch till bed-time. William & Mary brought me home. How we miss Fannie.
