Thursday August 8th 1929 I worked on the rug till nearly noon. I went up to Hatties with the Byingtons for dinner. William & Mary brought me home. Did some more on the rug. Friday August 9th 1929 I gave the house a good going over this morning. Hattie & Alliene Johnstone came. I took them over to The Legion for dinner. At four oclock Cora came and we took Alliene over to Byingtons and then left her at Orie Spencers. Read in evening. Saturday August 10th 1929 I worked on the rug most of the day. At four oclock The Whetstones came and we went to the station to see the Byingtons start to Idaho. There was a shower. But let up as they got on all right. I read some. Went up town in the evening. Mr Gay home from Canada. Sunday August 11th 1929 I was home all day. Wrote Bro Ott and Lois Simpson. Slept in afternoon. Read in evening. Monday August 12th 1929 I worked some and finished Hatties rug. Miss Morrison and Mrs Louis called. Read in evening. Tuesday August 13th 1929 Did ironing, had letters from Ida, William and Ella Nagle. I went to Louise Hughes to Elder Daughter party at four oclock. Home with Hattie and Cora brought us to picture show "The Pagan" home at 10.30.
