Wednesday August 14th 1929 Home working on a rug till later afternoon. Went up town of an errand. Later Ed & Reni Robinson called. They had drove from Santa Monica. Read in evening. Thursday August 15th 1929 Worked some on rug. Went to Hatties by street car. Spent the day with the Schultz family there. They brought me home. Letters from Winnie & Lydia. Wrote both of them and Ida and Alma Wenig. Weather cool. Friday August 16th 1929 Wrote Mary Byington early. I worked on the rug what spare time I had. Hattie & Cora here in the P.M. Anna Klein here all evening. Good visit. Saturday August 17th 1929 I gave my rooms a good cleaning. I worked on the rug all my spare time. Letter from Birdie. Sunday August 18th 1929 Ott got home from Idaho last night. I went over there by taxi before dinner. Hattie came in the afternoon and stayed till dark. We visited and read till early bed-time. How we miss Fannie when here. Monday August 19th 1929 I worked on Hatties rug all forenoon. Went out to look at the road. Came to town with Ott after dinner. Letters from LeGrand, Mary and Lou Simpson. Wrote to Lou, Mary and Ott Seibert. Hattie, Mrs Sheldrick & Cora called. I wrote Ella Nagle after they went home. Evening with Ott on the porch. Drove to cemetery on way home.
