Sunday August 25th 1929
I came over with Ott at 9:30. Wrote Lydia & Ida. We went 
up to Hatties for dinner. Had a nice day together. Ott 
took The Jellison. Hattie & Cora with us to the cemetery 
then for a little ride. I got our suppers. Then went to 
call The Prentiss girls. Wrote Mrs. Falk & sat on porch.
Monday August 26th 1929
I came to town with Ott early and helped select 
paper for the new room. Worked on Hatties rug till 
afternoon. Went back with Ott for dinner. Out to Aunt 
Emmas later. He came for me. We stopped at the 
cemetery. Wrote William & Mary in the evening.
Tuesday August 27th 1929
Ott went away early. I came to town in a taxi. Worked 
on Hatties rug in A.M. Went to Stevens with Hattie,
Cora and The Jellisons in afternoon. Had letter from Mrs
Doyle. Wrote to her and after supper wrote Emma Heriott 
and Mabel McDougall. Did some of my packing.
Wednesday August 28th 1929
I got ready to leave at ten oclock. The Jellisons, Cora 
& Hattie took me to the station. Tishie met me there. 
We had a nice trip. Frank Woolf met us in Peoria. 
Visited with the Mason girls till early bed-time.
Thursday August 29th 1929
Letter from Mrs Doyle. Went calling in P.M. Stopped to 
register at headquarters. Was at Woolfs. Eva Taylors when I saw 
her brother Milnor at Duncans and Charles took me home. 
The Girls busy with home coming affairs. Telephoning to do.
