Thursday October 3rd 1929 I moved to another room. Like it better. Ott Seibert here before she began work. Scott Metcalf went to lunch with us. Then he took me out to see his family & Lizzie. I found her very weak. Scott brought me home. Letters from Hattie, Lydia & Winnie. Wrote Mattie Fletcher & Hattie. Friday October 4th 1929 Slept late. Blanche Abernathy called. Later Ott Seibert told me her Mother passed away in the night. Scott came and took out there. Was in my room all PM writing. Sent letters to Bro Ott, Winnie Lydia, Lois Simpson, Mattie Stitt, Lucy Fletcher and M E Culbertson. Lizzie Felkner spent the evening with me. Saturday October 5th 1929 I was in my room part of AM. Had letters from Hattie, Will Work & Mabel McDougall. After lunch went out to Inglewood by street car. Went with the family to look at Lizzie and came to The Station. When Emily left with her Mother for Centralia at 6.20. They left me at The Rosslyn. Spent the evening on The Mezanine floor. Sunday October 6th 1929 Was late to breakfast. Wrote to Aunt Emma and note to Harry Rowe. Went out to Abernathys by car. Major & Minnie came in the afternoon. The Abernathys brought me home. Had supper here in the hotel. I got down in The Mezanine listening to music. Did a little writing and went to bed early.
