Wednesday November 6th 1929 I walked up to the church to the meeting. Very interesting day. Cora brought me home. I wrote to Lou Simpson & Mrs Miller in Elkhart Indiana. In the evening took Mary to The S. U. I. play and went home with her to stay all night. Thursday November 7th 1929 I came home when Mary brought Buddy to school. Wrote Winnie and went to Miss Sweaneys to street car to a Red meeting. A delightful time. Mrs Recods brought me home. After supper met Hattie at No 1. Went to prayer meeting. The Rhinds brought me home. Friday November 8th 1929 I worked all AM cleaning up my rooms. Hattie came after dinner. We went to Mr Griers funeral. I took a sleep after that. Went with The Whetstones to see The bon-fire. Then Hattie & I spent the rest of the evening at Otts with The Bremners. William brought us home. Letter from Mrs Falk. Saturday November 9th 1929 Went up town in AM. Big crowd for "Dads Day" & football with Minnesota. William took Hattie & me over there. We listened in for the game. Iowa won. The Bremners, Ott & I went home with Hattie for the evening. They brought me home. Wrote Alberta in eve. Sunday November 10th 1929 It began raining in the night. Ott took me to S S & church. A drizzling day. How fortunate it was not so yesterday. I got my dinner. Slept awhile and put in the rest of the time reading. Went to bed early.
