Thursday December 5th 1929 I wrote Hattie. We went out to Lormon St church for lunch. Mrs Ohenchain there. I went on to The McCall house where I stayed till nine oclock and went home by taxi. I miss Warner very much. Friday December 6th 1929 Winnie & I went out to Mrs Drivers for lunch. Charlotte was there. We had a delightful day. After we got supper over spent evening at Fred Givens house. Saturday December 7th 1923 It was a dark morning with heavy fog. I left Winnies in a taxi at one oclock for the Union Station. John O'Neil met me there to visit till I got on the train for Delavan. Edith met me with taxi. Spent the evening visiting. A letter here from Birdie. Sunday December 8th 1929 Still dark. Mr Caswell sent the flowers before we went to S S by taxi. There was a good congregation. We had callers all afternoon. I spent the evening alone with Lydia. The rest of the family at church. Monday December 9th 1929 I had Mr Albers take me over to Jennie Culbertsons where I was invited for dinner. Later I called at Woolfs and Lizzie Duncans Charles took me home. The girls were both home from school. I packed up my things tonight. It us thirty-one years today that Edith died.
