Thursday December 26th 1929 I began some cleaning. Did washing. Mary left Buddy here awhile early in the afternoon. I got more mail today. Read a book in the evening. fine weather. Friday December 27th 1929 I washed wood work in kitchen. Cleaned bath room, did some ironing and washed curtains. To bed early, very tired. Saturday December 28th 1929 I went up town to get new drapes for front room. Then worked all the rest of the day at cleaning. Hattie here in the afternoon. Read in evening. went to bed early. Sunday December 29th 1929 Ott took me to S S & church. This is the last day Mr Rhind preaches for us. If Lizzie Lindley were living I would write her that it was 60 years tonight since the spelling school at The Ryerson school house. I wrote Winnie and wrote a list of letters sent. Monday December 30th 1929 I took down curtains in front rooms and washed them. I washed wood-work and windows. I slept awhile in afternoon. Then cut out my drapes for front rooms and sewed a little before time for supper. I had a card to announce Harry Ables Mother would be buried this afternoon. I read in the evening. I got quite a lot of mail. I will make a list of it later. a pleasant day.
