Tuesday December 31st 1929 I sewed most of the forenoon and finished the drapes. I had just finished ironing the curtains in the afternoon when Hattie called to say she and Cora were driving down to Stevens. They took me with them. I stopped at Means to pay grocery bill and walked on home. It was supper time. I read a little in the evening and talked with Mrs Gay. What changes have come into my life in that I have had to give up some dear friends. There has been quite a lot of pleasure in my life that I have been well enough to travel about to see people.
